Dave Stevens is a Senior Operating Partner at FPC. Based in San Francisco, he joined FPC in 2020.

Dave has spent more than 25 years in the enterprise and service provider technology space as an entrepreneur and founder, a product and technology innovator, and an operating executive. Prior to joining FPC, Dave was the CEO of Keelan Capital — an early stage investment and strategic advisory company focused on enterprise IT, cyber security, and digital transformation. Previously, Dave served as the Chief Technology Officer of Brocade Communications Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: BRCD) where he was responsible for driving corporate strategy and innovation. During his tenure at Brocade, he also had responsibility for Corporate Development and the Campus Networking business. Prior to Brocade, Dave co-founded and served as the Chief Executive Officer of Palo Alto Networks, Inc. (NYSE: PANW) a leader in the development of advanced cyber security and next-generation firewall products. He has held senior operating roles at Rhapsody Networks, an intelligent storage area networking pioneer, Atmosphere Networks, Nortel, Bay Networks and SynOptics Communications.

Dave serves on the Board of Directors of Allscripts, Sandvine and SmartBear. He formerly served on the board of directors of Trustwave, Fit Kids Foundation, vArmour, SlashNext, Rhapsody Networks, Imation, and Palo Alto Networks.
