Francisco Partners, a global technology-focused private equity firm, today announced the promotions of Chris Adams, Peter Christodoulo, Petri Oksanen and Matt Spetzler to Partner.

Chris Adams joined Francisco Partners in 2008 and focuses primarily on technology-enabled services and information services. Prior to joining FP, Chris worked at American Securities Capital Partners where he evaluated and executed private equity transactions across business services and industrial technology. Chris previously worked at Bain & Company as a strategy consultant for a venture capital firm in Bangalore and for a technology startup in Shanghai. He currently serves on the board of directors of Aesynt, Quantros and Therapeutic Research Center. Chris previously served on the board of directors of NexTraq and QuadraMed and was also involved with the firm’s investments in Mincom and Hypercom. Chris received an undergraduate degree in Computer Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, where he graduated with highest honors, and an MBA from the Graduate School of Business at Stanford.
Peter Christodoulo has worked at Francisco Partners since 2008 with a focus on financial technology. Prior to joining the firm, Peter was an associate with Thomas H. Lee Partners. He previously worked as an analyst in the Technology Investment Banking Group of Credit Suisse Securities and was involved in several startup companies. Peter currently serves on the board of directors of Allston Trading, eFront, PayLease and Paymetric and is a board observer of City Index. He was also involved with FP’s investments in Attenti, Cybit, Prosper Marketplace and Smartfocus. Peter received a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Harvard University.
Petri Oksanen joined the firm in 2005 and is involved in Francisco Partners’ application software investments. Previously Petri worked at Morgan Stanley in its Technology Investment Banking group and held a variety of business development, program management and software development roles at Microsoft. Petri serves on the board of directors of Aconex and Plex Systems. He previously served on the board of directors of AdvancedMD, API Healthcare, Healthland, Source Photonics and T-System and was involved with FP’s investments in Ex Libris, LYNX Medical Systems, Specific Media and Webtrends. Petri earned a Bachelor of Applied Science degree with joint honors in Computer Engineering and Economics with Distinction from the University of Waterloo.
Matt Spetzler joined Francisco Partners in 2004 and is based in its London office. Prior to joining the firm, Matt worked at Bain & Company as a strategy consultant where he worked on many private equity-led turnarounds and strategies for portfolio companies. Matt previously led many entrepreneurial endeavours, including technology, internet, biotech and design startups. Matt currently serves on the board of directors of Lumata. He previously served on the board of directors of Masternaut and was involved with FP’s investments in Aconex, Kewill and Webtrends. Matt received his undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, where he graduated with highest honors, and an MBA from the Graduate School of Business at Stanford, where he was an Arjay Miller scholar.
