CBA Group LLC is an FP-managed holding company focused on capital equipment investments. CBA Group companies include Universal Instruments, Unovis Solutions, and Hover-Davis. Universal Instruments is a global supplier of pick and place equipment used to assemble components onto printed circuit boards (“PCBs”). Universal’s primary products include surface mount and insertion mount technologies for placement as well as final assembly technologies for end-of-line packaging. Unovis Solutions provides specialized process knowledge and turn-key solutions for electronic components and semiconductor assembly. Hover-Davis is a global supplier of component feeding solutions to the electronics assembly industry. Vitronics-Soltec, formerly a member company of the CBA Group, was acquired by Illinois Tool Works in 2008.
